XCES was born and raised in Santa Ana, Califas. At the age of 13, he was inspired by hip-hop culture. He started his career as a self-taught artist until he met a variety of mentors that would forever change his outlook on art and life. XCES is a multidisciplinary artist who utilizes dry/wet mediums with traditional techniques like printmaking, collaging, drawing, and painting to convey his message. XCES is an active artist showcasing art in exhibitions and creating public murals in the community. XCES is a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education with an Emphasis in Drawing and Painting.
